- Low wear resistance of materials. This sofa bed is not designed for permanent use as a sleeping place. In this case, the upholstery will deteriorate, which will naturally affect the appearance of the furniture;
- The covers are not removable. Although they are easy to clean from dirt, there is still discomfort associated with the inability to wash them in a washing machine;
- Thin fabric quickly stretches, tears, lies in waves;
- The armrests are hard (not upholstered with soft elements). There is a risk of injury, especially for children;
- Since the mattress is on the floor, it can be cold while sleeping. There is also the problem of drafts;
- The foam filler is very soft, so it quickly deforms and is pressed through.

- Lightning. Made of polyamide plastic. Available only on mattress components. There are no zippers on the rest of the sofa, the cover is not removable.
- Armrests. Tough. Inside there is a fibreboard, upholstered with a thin layer of polyurethane foam with polyester on top.

This is not to say that these materials are high quality and very durable. But the service life of the Solsta specified by the manufacturer is only a year. Much depends on handling and operating conditions.
