Personally, I am one of those who prefer to use more neutral pieces of furniture in a child's room (like the dressing table in the photo on the right) so as not to formulate in girls the idea of beauty as something that looks like something for a doll.

Look for additional options - use three-tier fruit bowls for storing small items, wall organizers for jewelry, etc.
