We've had it for almost 4 years now, it's been through assembly, disassembly, moving, and assembly again, and it feels great. It stood in the hallway and was used every day. Actually, now it serves the same purposes - it stores outerwear and street shoes.

How convenient is the Pax IKEA wardrobe? Because you can design it yourself. If something in IKEA is sold as is - beds, chests of drawers, sofas - then Pax's wardrobe can be made the way you want, as you see it, as you need. For this purpose, there is even a Pax planner on the IKEA website - there are all the frame boxes, and the beauty - the doors, and all the insides that already belong to the Compliment series.

Assembling the cabinet is not difficult, the instructions, like all other Ikea furniture, are detailed and understandable, the main thing is that you have enough strength to move the parts and then lift the frame and hang the doors. The husband assembled, disassembled, assembled himself, and he himself lifted the frame from the floor. At some stages it’s really difficult without help, I helped as much as I could. At the same time, the most inconvenient part of assembling the Pax coupe is hanging the doors. But you can deal with it too.

By the way, Pax's coupe doors move quite loudly and not very smoothly. This is especially annoying at night – I’m afraid to wake up the children. The rest of the time it doesn’t interfere, I’m used to it.

When we needed another closet, without thinking twice we again assembled the construction set from Ikea. This time to the bedroom, Pax swing

I have a shelf on top for boxes for out-of-season and rarely used items, a barbell, a shelf for bags, etc., and baskets for clothes.

The baskets ride quite smoothly and are not very quiet. The only thing that annoys me is that in order to pull out the basket, the cabinet needs to be opened completely.

Overall, I am very pleased with the Pax series wardrobes. The prices for them are lower than for the production of cabinets based on individual projects, and if serial cabinets can be painted differently, their insides are still quite standard, and if not, the price immediately skyrockets. There is also room for creativity and joy from the fact that the result is exactly what you need.

I won’t lie if I say that part of the choice of the apartment we live in now was dictated by the presence of a dressing room in it.

We made a dressing room out of this elongated 4-meter room. IKEA Algot helped us with this .

Before we got to Ikea, we looked at and priced out storage systems from others

manufacturers. But this one was the cheapest.

Also, some manufacturers used chipboard shelves , which I hate!

Chipboard and the substances it contains give things an unpleasant odor.

They extend almost completely, everything that lies in them is clearly visible and accessible.
